My paintings are about looking as it becomes seeing and seeing as it becomes contemplation. Something will catch my eye; then, when I look at a scene or a subject I become totally absorbed by it.
I start seeing it and it will take on a form of its own, resulting in a different image. This image will stick with me and keeps developing until it turns into a painting with my vision.
